KAR House has long been dedicated to assisting individuals recovery after a period of abusing drugs and alcohol. It has been doing this within Ward Cove and in the surrounding areas for quite some time. Today, KAR House provides services like 12-step facilitation approach, brief intervention approach, matrix model, motivational interviewing, substance abuse counseling approach, anger management - which are all in line with their philosophy of the treatments and rehabilitation programs that work. In addition, KAR House believes that clients need specially tailored treatment programs to achieve recovery. This is why it offers various programs, like clients referred from the court/judicial system, aftercare/continuing care, self-help groups, housing services, co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, substance abuse education - among other services listed in the following sections.
KAR House offers outpatient detoxification facilities, inpatient treatment facilities, short term addiction treatment centers, long term drug rehab facilities, outpatient day treatment and others. KAR House has relapse prevention programs that are useful in helping clients after they check out of rehab. This alcohol and drug rehab also uses treatment types that can help you create both lasting and permanent stability.
Finally, KAR House accepts private pay, private medical insurance, military insurance, payment assistance, access to recovery (atr) voucher, county or local government funds, as well as others.
