KAR House is committed to assisting the residents of Thorne Bay and the surrounding areas to getting their sobriety back after battling with alcohol and drug addiction. Because of this, KAR House provides a wide collection of services in line with their philosophy of treatments that work - including inpatient drug abuse treatment, long term drug treatment, outpatient detox facilities, outpatient substance abuse counseling, short term drug rehab programs and others.
KAR House also believes that it is of the upmost importance that every person gets uniquely tailored treatment to ensure their recovery. This is why it is specialized in a wide variety of treatment modalities, including behavior modification, dialectical behavior therapy, brief intervention approach, relapse prevention, trauma-related counseling, matrix model and others. In addition, KAR House is specialized in self-help groups, domestic violence, seniors or older adults, co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, transgender or (LGBT) clients, social skills development, as well as other special programs. In general, the treatment services that this substance abuse treatment center uses strive to achieve true and lasting sobriety for each of its clients.
Lastly, KAR House accepts private health insurance, private pay, military insurance, medicare, medicaid, other state funds, state welfare or child and family services funds and more.
