KAR House is dedicated to assisting any person with an alcohol or drug use disorder in Meyers Chuck and its surrounding areas find full recovery. It offers several services - such as long term drug and alcohol rehab programs, inpatient drug and alcohol rehab facilities, intensive outpatient treatment, inpatient detox centers, short term rehab programs and others - in keeping with its philosophy of the recovery care and rehab modalities that are effective in recovery. This alcohol and drug rehab center also believes that people need individual care to be able to stop abusing drugs and alcohol.
As such, KAR House specializes in relapse prevention, activity therapy, group therapy, cognitive/behavior therapy, anger management, trauma-related counseling and more. Similarly, it accepts clients who are transgender or (LGBT) clients, social skills development, persons with serious mental illness, co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, persons who have experienced sexual abuse, clients with HIV/AIDS, and others. This alcohol and drug rehab program uses care modalities that can assist patients to achieve sobriety from the substances of abuse that they have used in the past.
