KAR House has made a name for itself by dedicating its addiction services to the people who struggle with drug and alcohol use issues in Edna Bay, Alaska and within the surrounding neighborhoods.
Programs are offered on an individual basis to ensure clients find full recovery in the long term. KAR House also specializes in contingency management/motivational incentive, substance abuse counseling approach, behavior modification, individual psychotherapy, group therapy, relapse prevention, and others - as well as many other treatment modalities such as seniors or older adults, transgender or (LGBT) clients, persons with serious mental illness, social skills development, residential beds for client's children, active duty military, and more.
Additionally, KAR House has programs such as inpatient drug and alcohol rehab facilities, outpatient day treatment, long term treatment facilities, short term drug rehab facilities, outpatient detox programs for clients with addictions to drugs and alcohol. The alcohol and drug rehab uses treatment methods that can provide lasting stability to anyone with a drug and alcohol use disorder. Finally, KAR House accepts clients with different kinds of payment methods - including private insurance, private pay, sliding fee scale, payment assistance, county or local government funds, state education funds and others.
