Also known as GCLC, the Guidance Center of Lea County Inc. is classified as a not for profit community mental and behavioral health care and treatment services. It provides a wide variety of programs and services to people living across Southeastern New Mexico with a particular focus on those who come from Lea County. - It has been providing high quality mental and behavioral health care services for over 4 decades. During this time, it has been serving more than 1,000 clients on a monthly basis while also responding to an average of 66 crisis emergency interventions every month. - The agency is one of the leading providers of family-centered recovery and rehabilitation services. This is due to its ongoing commitment to the expansion and enhancement of the continuum of care that can help the whole family find healing and wellness. - The services available from the Guidance Center of Lea County Inc. are also supported by the state Division of Mental Health, the Department of Children, Youth, and Families, as well as the Behavioral Health Services Division of Substance Abuse in the state.
