Knox County Health Center has made a name for itself by dedicating its recovery services to the people who struggle with substance abuse issues in the local community.
Services are provided on an individualized basis to ensure clients achieve full recovery in the long term. Knox County Health Center has also specialized in relapse prevention, trauma-related counseling, 12-step facilitation approach, matrix model, behavior modification, substance abuse counseling approach, and others - as well as many other treatment methods such as persons with serious mental illness, veterans, treatment for spanish-speaking clients, residential beds for client's children, active duty military, child care for clients children, and more.
Additionally, Knox County Health Center has programs such as long term addiction treatment facilities, detox facilities, outpatient counseling, inpatient drug and alcohol rehab facilities, short term drug treatment for clients with addictions to alcohol and drugs. The alcohol and drug treatment program uses treatment methods that can provide permanent stability to any person with a substance abuse issue. Finally, Knox County Health Center accepts clients with different types of payment methods - including private medical insurance, private pay, sliding fee scale, payment assistance, county or local government funds, state corrections or juvenile justice funds and others.
