Turning Winds is known for dedicating its recovery services to the individuals who struggle with substance use disorders in the local community.
Programs are offered on an individual basis to ensure people find full recovery in the long term. Turning Winds has also specialized in dialectical behavior therapy, behavior modification, activity therapy, 12-step facilitation approach, group therapy, cognitive/behavior therapy, and others - as well as many other treatment methods such as clients referred from the court/judicial system, co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, self-help groups, seniors or older adults, transgender or (LGBT) clients, programs for the hearing impaired, and more.
Additionally, Turning Winds has programs such as short term drug addiction treatment, inpatient detox programs, long term rehab facilities, outpatient substance abuse counseling, inpatient rehabs for verifiable addictions to drugs and alcohol. The drug and alcohol treatment facility uses treatment methods that can provide lasting and permanent stability to anyone with a drug and alcohol abuse disorder. Finally, Turning Winds accepts clients with different types of payment methods - including cash or self-payment, private insurance, military insurance, medicare, medicaid, state education funds, access to recovery (atr) voucher and others.
