List of Outpatient Alcohol and Drug Rehabs In Old Appleton, Missouri

How Outpatient Alcohol and Drug Treatment Works in Old Appleton, Missouri

If you have been battling with an extreme substance use disorder and addiction, outpatient alcohol and drug rehab might not prove to be enough for you. Before you look for treatment for your addiction, you must first go through detox to rid your body completely of the substances you were abusing.

After the detox stage, the outpatient addiction treatment program will begin the official work of therapy and recovery. In fact, these programs work best if you have already completed another form of treatment - such as a participating in an inpatient substance abuse treatment center. You should also be deemed medically stable enough that you can comfortably pursue treatment and recovery by yourself.

When you begin an outpatient alcohol and drug rehab facility in Old Appleton, the following services will be provided every week:

  • Family therapy sessions
  • Group therapy and support meetings
  • One-on-one counseling
  • Prescribed medication management for poly-substance addiction diagnoses
  • Diet Management
  • One to one counseling and therapy with trained addiction treatment and/or mental health expert
  • Recreational therapy
  • Training in relapse prevention techniques
  • Transitional living

Since outpatient rehab does not demand that you live inside the center, it means that you might need to dedicate yourself to sobriety so that the program proves fruitful in the long run. You should also aim for sobriety and abstain from drugs without any monitoring or care.

As long as your living situation and environment is conducive to your recovery, you might find that outpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation is the best option. This is because you will receive help and care at home so that you can carry on focusing on beating your addiction - with none of the pitfalls you might have encountered in the past.
