List of Outpatient Alcohol and Drug Rehab Centers In Coushatta, Louisiana

How Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehab Works in Coushatta, Louisiana

If you have been battling with an extreme substance use disorder and addiction, outpatient drug and alcohol treatment may not prove suitable for you. Before you seek treatment for your addiction, you must first undergo detoxification to rid your body completely of the substances you were abusing.

After the detox stage, the outpatient drug and alcohol rehab facility will begin the real work of therapy and recovery. In fact, these programs work better if you have already completed another form of rehab - such as a participating in an inpatient alcohol and drug rehab. You should also be considered medically stable enough that you can easily pursue treatment and recovery by yourself.

When you enter into an outpatient addiction treatment program in Coushatta, the following services will be provided every week:

  • Counseling with Family
  • Group counseling and support meetings
  • Individual therapy and counseling
  • Prescribed medication management for poly-substance addiction diagnoses
  • Diet Management
  • One on one therapy sessions with licensed treatment counselors
  • Recreational therapy
  • Training in relapse prevention techniques
  • Sober living housing, where required

Since outpatient rehab does not require that you live inside the facility, it means that you might need to dedicate yourself to recovery so that the program proves worthwhile in the long run. You should also pursue sobriety and abstain from drugs without any supervision or care.

As long as your surroundings are conducive to your recovery, you may find that outpatient drug rehabilitation is the best option. This is because you will get help and care at home so that you can continue focusing on overcoming your addiction - with none of the temptations you may have run into in the past.
