List of Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Treatment Programs In Cotton Valley, Louisiana

How Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Treatment Works in Cotton Valley, Louisiana

If you have been struggling with a severe substance use disorder and addiction, outpatient alcohol and drug rehabilitation might not prove suitable for you. Before you seek treatment for your condition, you must first undergo detoxification to rid your body completely of the substances you were abusing.

After the detox stage, the outpatient alcohol and drug rehab will start the official work of therapy and recovery. In fact, these programs work best if you have already completed another form of treatment - such as a participating in an inpatient drug and alcohol rehab program. You should also be considered medically stable enough that you can easily pursue treatment and recovery with little to no supervision.

When you enter into an outpatient substance abuse treatment facility in Cotton Valley, the following services will be provided every week:

  • Therapy sessions with Family
  • Group therapy and support meetings
  • Individual therapy and counseling
  • Medication management, which might be required if you have a co-occurring disorder or have been diagnosed with polysubstance addiction
  • Nutritional coaching
  • Individual counseling with addiction treatment specialists
  • Recreational therapy
  • Relapse prevention
  • Transitional living

Since outpatient treatment does not require that you live inside the facility, it means that you may need to dedicate yourself to sobriety so that the program proves successful in the long run. You should also pursue sobriety and abstain from drugs without any supervision or care.

As long as your environment is conducive to your recovery, you might find that outpatient drug treatment is the best option. This is because you will get support and assistance at home so that you can carry on focusing on overcoming your addiction - with none of the pitfalls you may have run into in the past.
