List of Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehab Centers In Bossier City, Louisiana

How Outpatient Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Works in Bossier City, Louisiana

If you have been struggling with a severe substance use disorder and addiction, outpatient drug and alcohol treatment may not prove to be enough for you. Before you look for treatment for your condition, you must first undergo detox to rid your body completely of the substances you were abusing.

After the detox stage, the outpatient alcohol and drug rehab program will start the official work of therapy and recovery. In fact, these programs work better if you have already completed another form of treatment - such as a participating in an inpatient addiction treatment center. You should also be deemed medically stable enough that you can comfortably pursue treatment and recovery with minimal supervision.

When you enroll in an outpatient substance abuse treatment facility in Bossier City, the following services will be provided every week:

  • Counseling with Family
  • Group therapy and individual meetings for support and encouragement
  • One-on-one counseling
  • Prescribed medication management for poly-substance addiction diagnoses
  • Nutritional coaching
  • One on one therapy sessions with licensed treatment counselors
  • Exercise related therapy
  • Relapse Prevention Skills
  • Transitional living

Since outpatient rehabilitation does not demand that you reside inside the facility, it means that you may need to dedicate yourself to recovery so that the program proves worthwhile in the long run. You should also pursue sobriety and abstain from drugs without any monitoring or care.

As long as your living situation and environment is conducive to your recovery, you may find that outpatient drug and alcohol treatment is the best option. This is because you will receive support and care at home so that you can carry on focusing on overcoming your addiction - with none of the pitfalls you might have encountered in the past.
