Also known as YBGR, the Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch works closely with around 600 young people throughout the state of Montana. It mostly takes care of those who have been struggling with controlling their behaviors and emotions as a result of a wide range of mental and behavioral health disorders. - Since the agency was founded in 1957, it has had an impact on over 10,000 young people and their families and loved ones through its residential services, community based programs, and the expansive Yellowstone Academy. Additionally, the center uses evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation approaches to take care of the clients who come to it for help. - Some of the services that the center offers include but are not limited to EMDR, dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, attachment regulation and competency, trauma-informed care, and many others. Through these services, the Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch ensures that its young clients are able to attain a lifestyle of healing, wellness, and productivity.
