These services are targeted at people living in the M-10 catchment area. - As a result of this program, the agency helps clients so that they can confront their substance abuse and addiction as well as develop plans for a lifestyle that is free of alcohol and drugs. - Also known as WAMHC, the agency is a comprehensive community mental and behavioral health center. It mostly focuses on clients who have been diagnosed with substance use disorders, intellectual disabilities, and mental illnesses. The West Alabama Mental Health Center also serves children who live with severe emotional disorders.
