In guiding its clients towards health and recovery, the center is mostly focused on providing its services to people living in Sevier, Miller, Little River, Pike, Nevada, Lafayette, Howard, and Hempstead counties. For more than 40 years now, the agency has been providing these services to individuals as well as their families and loved ones. - Some of the services that it offers include but are not limited to assessment, referral, consultation, education, day treatment, community integration, and drug education. It also provides alcohol safety education, and emergency services, outpatient adult therapy, child therapy, family therapy, marital therapy, psychiatric assessment, medication management, and psychological evaluation. The Southwest Arkansas Counseling and Mental Health Center Inc. also provides school-based services, substance abuse services, therapeutic foster care, and youth services.
