Through its services, ROCMND Area Youth Services Inc. reduces substance misuse and abuse through its highly effective strategic prevention framework. In the same way, the center works in local communities to curb the abuse and misuse of intoxicating and mind altering substances ' including but not limited to drugs and alcohol. - It works in coalition with each of the local counties to help the community gather data and information for more solid assessment of substance abuse and addiction programs in the region. Further, it empowers the communities so that they can solve the problems that they have with drugs and alcohol as well as sustain recovery for clients who are ailing. - A community based agency, the center provides therapeutic mental and behavioral health care services and programs to children and families free of charge. ROCMND Area Youth Services Inc. also provides residential services for young people who come to it through the local Office of Juvenile Affairs.
