CADA was established on October 1, 1958, and has been providing these services for the residents of Louisiana on a continuous basis since that time. Fairfield location CADA is one of 100 affiliates of the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence. In the early years of CADA's presence in Shreveport-Bossier area, CADA served as an information and referral base to those seeking treatment.
