Tomah VA Medical Center is committed to assisting any person with an alcohol or drug use disorder in the local community find full recovery. It provides several programs - such as outpatient day treatment, long term drug rehab programs, inpatient detoxification facilities, short term treatment programs, inpatient drug and alcohol rehab centers and others - in keeping with its philosophy of the recovery treatment and rehab methods that work in recovery. At the same time, it accepts clients who are seniors or older adults, legal advocacy, persons with serious mental illness, residential beds for client's children, active duty military, social skills development, and others. This addiction treatment program uses care methods that can help clients to maintain sobriety and abstinence from the substances of abuse that they have used in the past.
