UNC Hospital has also specialized in behavior modification, relapse prevention, group therapy, substance abuse counseling approach, motivational interviewing, matrix model, and others - as well as many other treatment modalities such as treatment for spanish-speaking clients, persons with serious mental illness, clients referred from the court/judicial system, veterans, housing services, persons with post-traumatic stress disorder, and more.
Additionally, UNC Hospital has programs such as outpatient counseling, short term drug rehab centers, long term rehab programs, inpatient treatment programs, detoxification centers for verifiable addictions to alcohol and drugs. The alcohol and drug rehab program uses treatment modalities that can provide lasting stability to any person with a substance abuse problem. Finally, UNC Hospital accepts clients with different kinds of payment methods - including cash or self-payment, private health insurance, military insurance, payment assistance, other state funds, state welfare or child and family services funds and others.
