List of Short Term Alcohol and Drug Rehabs In Port Orange, Florida

Continued Care Following Short Term Drug Treatment in Port Orange, Florida

One of the benefits you stand to gain when you complete short term drug rehab is that you can later transition into long-term treatment. As such, continued care is ideal for people in Port Orange who have either relapsed or are at risk of relapse because they can engage themselves in another substance-free treatment setting and continue effectively working on their addiction.

After you finish and leave a rehab program, it is very typical that you will be confronted with the same surroundings where you previously used drugs or alcohol before you went for rehab. This is due to the fact that the same triggers - people, places, and things - that can cause you to relapse will still be there.

Considering it can be extremely challenging to transition into the "real world" after leaving long-term rehab where you were able to remain engaged in healing and support for a few months, you might feel that attending short term drug rehab in Port Orange, FL. could likely help you hold on to your newly acquired sobriety, control, and attitude against substance abuse and addiction.

While in short term drug treatment, therefore, you will learn how to lead a more positive and healthy lifestyle in spite of any challenging situations you may encounter. The facility will also help you to effectively manage your thoughts and behaviors - which can be very helpful in ensuring that you are able to deal with any stress you face.

Additional components of substance abuse rehabilitation and continued care include:

  • How to recognize triggers and avoid them
  • How to surround yourself with support through community groups, outpatient treatment, and stays at sober living facilities
  • How to create a more favorable environment at home and work

Finally, short term rehab will typically have a vast variety of rehabilitation methods that can help you apply new abilities in your life and keep on sticking to the new principles you learned after you check out of the rehab facility.
