MercyOne Horizons is committed to helping any person with an alcohol or drug use issue in Central City and within the surrounding neighborhoods find full recovery. It provides several services - such as short term drug and alcohol rehab centers, inpatient detox centers, inpatient addiction treatment programs, long term drug addiction treatment, intensive outpatient treatment and others - in keeping with its belief of the recovery treatment and rehabilitation methods that work in recovery. This drug and alcohol rehab program also believes that people need individual treatment to be able to maintain their sobriety.
As such, MercyOne Horizons has specialized in trauma therapy, activity therapy, behavior modification, trauma-related counseling, rational emotive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and more. Similarly, it accepts patients who are seniors or older adults, programs for the hearing impaired, transgender or (LGBT) clients, social skills development, domestic violence, residential beds for client's children, and others. This alcohol and drug treatment program uses treatment modalities that can assist patients to achieve lasting and permanent abstinence from the substances abused in the past.
In terms of payment, clients in MercyOne Horizons can pay for services using private medical insurance, cash or self-payment, medicare, medicaid, payment assistance, other state funds, state corrections or juvenile justice funds and others.
