Council on Alcoholism is dedicated to helping anyone with an alcohol or drug abuse issue in Upper Tract, West Virginia and its surrounding areas find complete recovery. It provides several services - such as inpatient drug abuse treatment, outpatient counseling, short term drug and alcohol rehabs, detox facilities, long term treatment centers and others - in keeping with its philosophy of the recovery care and rehabilitation modalities that are effective in recovery. This drug and alcohol rehab program also believes that people need individual care to be able to stop abusing drugs and alcohol.
As such, Council on Alcoholism specializes in trauma therapy, cognitive/behavior therapy, matrix model, cognitive/behavior therapy, individual psychotherapy, group therapy and more. Similarly, it accepts patients who are domestic violence, aftercare/continuing care, transgender or (LGBT) clients, clients referred from the court/judicial system, persons with post-traumatic stress disorder, seniors or older adults, and others. This addiction treatment facility uses care methods that can assist patients to maintain sobriety from the substances abused in the past.
