List of Long Term Alcohol and Drug Treatment Programs In Squire, West Virginia

Who Succeeds in Long Term Drug Rehab in Squire, West Virginia?

Although long term drug and alcohol treatment is now linked to facilities in Squire that provide genuine assistance in addiction treatment, some people do not like these programs and may not do well in them.

In fact, recent studies indicate that the dropout rate for long term rehab center is much higher than that from short-term drug and alcohol addiction rehab - with more than 31% of all enrolled clients giving up on treatment.

In many cases, these recovering addicts drop out due to the fact that they feel uncomfortable, want to return home, think that they should continue making their priority work and providing for their loved ones, or because they lack the finances to continue receiving rehab.

A Journal of Offender Rehabilitation study, however, indicated that addicts who are highly motivated to finish their drug and alcohol addiction treatment program are more inclined to succeed through long term alcohol and drug rehab as well as those who mandated to go to one of these programs legally.

You might also keep in mind that most long-term alcohol and drug rehab facilities have many rules and regulations that you need to abide by on a daily basis. As you get your strength back and experience a decline in your condition, these rules might begin to be a burden. At this point, you may assume you no longer need to attend support group meetings on a daily basis. You may also refuse to follow curfews set by the facility.

However, you need to keep in mind these rules and regulations are set for a valid reason and not just to punish you. Therefore, the only way to improve the successes you are making in drug and alcohol addiction recovery is by following them.

Hope Valley, Inc. was established as a private, non-profit corporation for treatment and care of alcoholics. The impetus for the program came from private citizens in Surry County who wanted to provide people with alcohol problems a way to become productive citizens. They opened the first facility, our Men's Division, in 1968. In 1970, a separate facility for women was opened. In 1986, our services were again expanded to serve drug dependent clients.
