Department of Veterans Affairs Medical is dedicated to helping any person with a drug or alcohol use problem in the local community find full recovery. It offers several services - such as outpatient individual counseling, inpatient drug and alcohol rehabs, long term drug rehab centers, outpatient detoxification centers, short term drug and alcohol rehab programs and others - in keeping with its belief of the recovery care and rehabilitation modalities that are effective in recovery. This addiction treatment center also believes that clients require individual care to be able to stop abusing drugs and alcohol.
As such, Department of Veterans Affairs Medical has specialized in brief intervention approach, group therapy, dual diagnosis drug rehab, relapse prevention, behavior modification, 12-step facilitation approach and more. Similarly, it accepts clients who are housing services, clients referred from the court/judicial system, persons who have experienced sexual abuse, social skills development, residential beds for client's children, persons with eating disorders, and others. This substance abuse treatment center uses care modalities that can assist clients to achieve abstinence from the substances of abuse that they have used in the past.
