Cherokee Nation has made a name for itself by dedicating its addiction services to the people who struggle with drug and alcohol use disorders in the Tahlequah, Oklahoma area.
Programs are offered on an individual basis to make sure people find full recovery in the long term. Cherokee Nation has also specialized in dialectical behavior therapy, dual diagnosis drug rehab, cognitive/behavior therapy, group therapy, trauma therapy, 12-step facilitation approach, and others - as well as many other treatment methods such as co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, clients with HIV/AIDS, seniors or older adults, veterans, social skills development, clients referred from the court/judicial system, and more.
Additionally, Cherokee Nation has programs such as short term treatment programs, inpatient detox facilities, outpatient counseling, inpatient drug rehab programs, long term drug and alcohol rehab centers for verifiable addictions to drugs and alcohol. The alcohol and drug rehab center uses treatment methods that can provide lasting stability to any person with a substance use disorder. Finally, Cherokee Nation accepts clients with different types of payment methods - including cash or self-payment, private insurance, payment assistance, sliding fee scale, state education funds, access to recovery (atr) voucher and others.
