List of Outpatient Addiction Treatment Programs In Lowgap, North Carolina

How Outpatient Drug Rehab Works in Lowgap, North Carolina

If you have been grappling with an extreme substance use disorder and addiction, outpatient drug and alcohol rehab might not prove useful for you. Before you seek treatment for your addiction, you must first undergo detoxification to rid your body completely of the substances you were abusing.

After the detox stage, the outpatient substance abuse treatment center will begin the real work of therapy and recovery. In fact, these programs work best if you have already completed another form of rehab - such as a participating in an inpatient alcohol and drug treatment facility. You should also be deemed medically stable enough that you can comfortably pursue treatment and recovery with minimal supervision.

When you begin an outpatient drug and alcohol rehab facility in Lowgap, the following services will be provided every week:

  • Counseling with Family
  • Group counseling and individual meetings for support and encouragement
  • One-on-one therapy session
  • Prescribed medication management for poly-substance addiction diagnoses
  • Nutrition and diet management
  • One to one counseling and therapy with trained addiction treatment and/or mental health expert
  • Exercise related therapy
  • Relapse Prevention Skills
  • Transitional living

Since outpatient rehab does not expect that you live inside the center, it means that you might need to dedicate yourself to recovery so that the program proves worthwhile in the long run. You should also pursue sobriety and abstain from drugs without any monitoring or care.

As long as your environment is conducive to your recovery, you may find that outpatient alcohol and drug treatment is the best option. This is because you will get support and care at home so that you can continue focusing on beating your addiction - with none of the pitfalls you might have run into in the past.
