List of Long Term Drug and Alcohol Treatment Programs In Hamptonville, North Carolina

Long Term Drug and Alcohol Rehab and Psychological Care in Hamptonville, North Carolina

Upon completion of a long-term alcohol and drug addiction program in Hamptonville, you may still be required to continue with your rehab. However, some individuals might begin wondering why they would be required to spend so long in such a program.

For example they may assume that it would be more effective to complete short-term rehab before checking into an intensive outpatient program. Still, even though some addicted individuals have found success through this type of treatment, there are people who would gain more by spending several months in an inpatient facility. These include addicts with less robust recovery skills as well as those who might require extra assistance and support to overcome their drug addiction.

These addicts include those who:

  • Are entirely unable to structure their lives without abusing their drugs and alcohol of choice
  • Come from unsafe neighborhoods and homes that could tempt them to start using again
  • Have co-occurring mental health disorders
  • Start using harmful and mind-altering substances from a young age
  • Finished addiction treatment but relapse to their old using habits

In many cases, long term drug rehab may also be accompanied by extended care and psychological rehabilitation. This is because the mental illnesses tend to co-occur with drug addiction - by leading individuals to abuse drugs and alcohol or arising from drug and alcohol abuse - often require long term management and treatment.

Through a Hamptonville, NC. long-term facility, therefore, you will receive all the care and help you need to overcome both your substance abuse and any co-occurring mental health condition that you are suffering from.

If you opt for short-term treatment, you may find that you increasingly isolate yourself, neglect your health and wellness, and cease taking the medications that doctors recommended to you. This is why long-term drug treatment makes sense for people with co-occurring disorders and who need more intervention.
