List of Short Term Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Programs In Conover, North Carolina

The Cost Of Short Term Substance Abuse Rehab in Conover, North Carolina

Most people struggling with drug or alcohol addiction usually discover the cost of rehab is too expensive. As a result, they may decide to opt out of receiving treatment - forgetting that addiction is usually more expensive in the long-term.

Contingent on the method of treatment you decide on, you can be sure that the facility will require you to handle the costs up front. However, there are affordable options in Conover that you can take advantage of to reduce these costs - one of these is short term drug rehabilitation.

Short term treatment is usually more affordable than long-term rehabilitation because you will only participate in the program for a short amount of time. Therefore, here you have an affordable alternative that you can benefit from to handle your drug and/or alcohol addiction problem.

In many instances, you may even learn that your health insurance carrier will cover the cost of rehab if you choose short term rehabilitation. Yet, some insurance plans have limits on the total amount they may pay out - or the entire duration of treatment that they will pay for. Still, many short term programs are sufficiently covered by insurance.

Thus, if the expense of treatment is a major consideration for you, short term rehab might be the appropriate choice. As much as you might want to have the most effective, most intensive type of treatment, your funds might hinder you from choosing other treatment options such as long term drug rehabilitation.

Even with this fairly low cost, short term drug and alcohol treatment could possibly work for you. However, the effectiveness of the rehab program will mainly depend on you as an individual. If your addiction has been happening for a long period of time, it is improbable that this type of rehabilitation will be successful in the long-run for you. This is because it is better suited for people who have only just started showing signs of substance abuse and addiction.

Generally, short term rehabilitation is most appropriate for addicts who have not been abusing drugs for a long time and for those who cannot come up with the funds for a longer rehab program.

Hope Valley, Inc. was established as a private, non-profit corporation for treatment and care of alcoholics. The impetus for the program came from private citizens in Surry County who wanted to provide people with alcohol problems a way to become productive citizens. At the request of these citizens, Bryant and Marion Bivins came to Dobson, NC from Durham where Mr. Bivins served as Director of the Damascus Home, a home for alcoholics. They opened the first facility, our Men's Division, in 1968. In 1970, a separate facility for women was opened. In 1986, our services were again expanded to serve drug dependent clients. In 2014, we again expanded our services by adding a facility in Hickory, NC that provides transitional housing and treatment services to alcoholics and addicts.
