Talbot House is dedicated to helping the people of Northport, New York and the surrounding areas to getting their sobriety back after battling with alcohol and drug addiction. Because of this, Talbot House administers a wide variety of services in line with their belief of treatments that work - including inpatient rehab centers, short term drug rehab programs, detox facilities, long term treatment facilities, outpatient substance abuse counseling and others.
Talbot House also feels that it is necessary that every person gets uniquely tailored treatment to ensure their recovery. This is why it is specialized in a wide variety of treatment methods, including group therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, cognitive/behavior therapy, trauma-related counseling, matrix model, brief intervention approach and others. Additionally, Talbot House is specialized in aftercare/continuing care, persons with eating disorders, programs for the hearing impaired, co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, self-help groups, residential beds for client's children, as well as other special programs. In general, the treatment services that this addiction treatment program uses can provide the level of stability that is as permanent as it is lasting.
Lastly, Talbot House accepts private insurance, cash or self-payment, military insurance, medicare, medicaid, state education funds, county or local government funds and more.
