List of Outpatient Alcohol and Drug Rehabs In Edgerton, Minnesota

How Outpatient Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Works in Edgerton, Minnesota

If you have been struggling with a severe substance use disorder and addiction, outpatient alcohol and drug rehab may not prove to be enough for you. Before you look for treatment for your substance abuse, you must first complete detoxification to rid your body completely of the substances you were abusing.

After the detox stage, the outpatient addiction treatment center will begin the official work of therapy and recovery. In fact, these programs work better if you have already completed another form of rehab - such as a participating in an inpatient alcohol and drug rehab. You should also be deemed medically stable enough that you can comfortably pursue treatment and recovery with little to no assistance and monitoring.

When you begin an outpatient addiction treatment facility in Edgerton, the following services will be provided every week:

  • Counseling with Family
  • Group counseling and individual meetings for support and encouragement
  • One-on-one counseling
  • Medication management, which might be required if you have a co-occurring disorder or have been diagnosed with polysubstance addiction
  • Diet Management
  • One on one therapy sessions with licensed treatment counselors
  • Exercise related therapy
  • Training in relapse prevention techniques
  • Sober living housing, where required

Since outpatient treatment does not demand that you live inside the facility, it means that you may need to dedicate yourself to recovery so that the program proves worthwhile in the long run. You should also pursue sobriety and abstain from drugs without any supervision or assistance.

As long as your surroundings are conducive to your recovery, you may find that outpatient drug treatment is the best option. This is because you will receive support and care at home so that you can continue focusing on beating your addiction - with none of the pitfalls you might have encountered in the past.
