We believe that attaining life satisfaction involves a blend of acceptance and change and a willingness to live according to pro-social values. We strive to create an environment that brings hope and improves the quality of life for persons affected by trauma, mental health challenges and/or drug and alcohol abuse and addictions. We welcome clients of all ages and provide services in individual, couple, family, and group formats. We provide evidence based treatments for a variety of concerns including anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, depressive disorders, anger control problems, substance abuse, grief and loss, sexual identity/LGBTQA, couples and family problems. Treatments we provide include: cognitive-behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based therapies, behavioral activation therapy, interpersonal therapy, acceptance & committment therapy, brief strategic family therapy, collaborative problem solving treatment and more. We also offer psychological assessments, consultations services, and trainings. Finally we are deeply committed to community service and actively collaborate with other community members to provide excellent mental health services for the mid-Michigan area.
