List of Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Facilities In Stonewall, Louisiana

How Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehab Works in Stonewall, Louisiana

If you have been struggling with an extreme substance use disorder and addiction, outpatient alcohol and drug treatment may not prove suitable for you. Before you look for treatment for your addiction, you must first complete detoxification to rid your body completely of the substances you were abusing.

After the detox stage, the outpatient substance abuse treatment center will begin the official work of therapy and recovery. In fact, these programs work better if you have already completed another form of treatment - such as a participating in an inpatient alcohol and drug rehab. You should also be deemed medically stable enough that you can comfortably pursue treatment and recovery with minimal supervision.

When you begin an outpatient addiction treatment facility in Stonewall, the following services will be provided every week:

  • Family counseling
  • Group counseling and support meetings
  • One-on-one counseling
  • Prescribed medication management for poly-substance addiction diagnoses
  • Nutrition and diet management
  • One to one counseling and therapy with trained addiction treatment and/or mental health expert
  • Recreational therapy
  • Relapse Prevention Skills
  • Sober living housing, where required

Since outpatient rehabilitation does not expect that you live inside the center, it means that you might need to dedicate yourself to sobriety so that the program proves successful in the long run. You should also strive for sobriety and abstain from drugs without any supervision or assistance.

As long as your living situation and environment is conducive to your recovery, you might find that outpatient alcohol and drug rehabilitation is the best option. This is because you will get help and assistance at home so that you can carry on focusing on overcoming your addiction - with none of the temptations you may have run into in the past.
