List of Outpatient Alcohol and Drug Treatment Programs In Cullen, Louisiana

How Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Works in Cullen, Louisiana

If you have been grappling with an extreme substance use disorder and addiction, outpatient drug and alcohol treatment may not prove to be enough for you. Before you look for treatment for your substance abuse, you must first go through detox to rid your body completely of the substances you were abusing.

After the detox stage, the outpatient drug and alcohol treatment program will start the real work of therapy and recovery. In fact, these programs work better if you have already completed another form of rehab - such as a participating in an inpatient drug and alcohol treatment facility. You should also be deemed medically stable enough that you can comfortably pursue treatment and recovery by yourself.

When you enter into an outpatient addiction treatment program in Cullen, the following services will be provided every week:

  • Family therapy sessions
  • Group counseling and individual meetings for support and encouragement
  • One-on-one counseling
  • Organization and management of prescribed medications for co-occurring disorders
  • Nutritional coaching
  • Individual counseling with addiction treatment specialists
  • Exercise related therapy
  • Relapse prevention
  • Sober living housing, where required

Since outpatient rehabilitation does not expect that you reside inside the facility, it means that you may need to dedicate yourself to sobriety so that the program proves fruitful in the long run. You should also desire sobriety and abstain from drugs without any monitoring or care.

As long as your environment is conducive to your recovery, you may find that outpatient drug rehab is the best option. This is because you will get support and assistance at home so that you can continue focusing on beating your addiction - with none of the pitfalls you might have run into in the past.

If you need assistance for yourself or someone you care about but don't know where to start call 1-877-882-9275 and talk with a registered addiction specialist.
