Volunteers of America Mid States is dedicated to assisting any person with a drug or alcohol abuse issue in McKee and its surrounding areas find complete recovery. It provides several programs - such as long term addiction treatment centers, short term rehabs, outpatient individual counseling, outpatient detox facilities, inpatient drug and alcohol rehab centers and others - in line with its belief of the recovery treatment and rehab methods that are effective in recovery. This addiction treatment program also believes that clients require individual treatment and care to be able to stop abusing drugs and alcohol.
As such, Volunteers of America Mid States specializes in substance abuse counseling approach, behavior modification, brief intervention approach, individual psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, anger management and more. At the same time, it accepts clients who are self-help groups, programs for the hearing impaired, persons who have experienced sexual abuse, co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, legal advocacy, persons with post-traumatic stress disorder, and others.
