Children and Family Services is known for dedicating its addiction services to the individuals who struggle with substance use issues in the Newton area.
Programs are provided on an individualized basis to ensure clients achieve full recovery in the long term. Children and Family Services has also specialized in anger management, brief intervention approach, trauma therapy, cognitive/behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, group therapy, and others - as well as other treatment modalities such as child care for clients children, suicide prevention services, clients with HIV/AIDS, veterans, programs for the hearing impaired, persons who have experienced sexual abuse, and more.
Additionally, Children and Family Services has programs such as intensive outpatient treatment, short term drug and alcohol rehab centers, long term treatment programs, inpatient rehabs, inpatient detox programs for clients with addictions to drugs and alcohol. The drug and alcohol rehab uses treatment modalities that can provide lasting and permanent stability to anyone with an alcohol and drug use issue. Finally, Children and Family Services accepts clients with different types of payment methods - including private health insurance, private pay, sliding fee scale, medicaid, medicare, county or local government funds, state corrections or juvenile justice funds and others.
