South Suburban Council on is devoted to assisting the residents of Homewood and the surrounding areas to recovering from the problems and issues that arrive from drug an/or alcohol abuse. As such, South Suburban Council on administers a wide variety of services in line with their belief of treatments that work - including inpatient detoxification centers, outpatient individual counseling, inpatient rehab centers, short term drug abuse treatment, long term addiction treatment facilities and others.
South Suburban Council on also believes that it is crucial that every individual client gets highly personalized services to ensure their recovery. This is why it is specialized in a wide variety of treatment modalities, including dual diagnosis drug rehab, cognitive/behavior therapy, individual psychotherapy, group therapy, brief intervention approach, rational emotive behavioral therapy and others. Additionally, South Suburban Council on is specialized in persons who have experienced sexual abuse, treatment for spanish-speaking clients, clients with HIV/AIDS, substance abuse education, self-help groups, persons with serious mental illness, as well as other special programs. In general, the treatment services that this drug and alcohol rehab program uses strive to achieve true and lasting sobriety for each of its clients.
