Making Short Term Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Work in Deer Trail, Colorado

Typically, completing short term drug or alcohol rehab means that you want to carry on with additional rehabilitation services such as going to 12-step meetings or individualized counseling. Usually, addiction recovery is a long-term goal. That said, you might want to continue with your treatment in other settings for some time - depending on how confident you are in your sobriety, your determination, and your health.

As such, the step-down method after attending a short term rehabilitation program may involve additional methods of recovery, including but not limited to:

  • Intensive outpatient programs (IOP)
  • Partial hospitalization programs (PHP)
  • Halfway houses
  • Sober living homes
  • Support groups
  • Outpatient treatments

In fact, even after you have graduated from a short term drug and alcohol rehab program and have began transitioning into a new sober way of life, you will still want continued support. You may discover these in group settings, such as by regularly attending 12-step support group meetings, or in an individualized setting like one on one counseling & therapy and outpatient counseling.

Typically, the longer you can stick to the treatment protocol, the better your chances of recovery will be.

While you attempt abstinence and structure in your life, you will want to take the time to find an effective short term drug rehab center in Deer Trail that fits your exact requirements and preferences.

When trying to find a short term treatment program, therefore, you might want to consider the following factors:

  • If the facility accepts insurance
  • If you are suffering from any co-occurring physical and mental health disorders
  • The cost of treatment
  • The length of the treatment programs
  • The location of the facility
  • The rehab programs provided
  • The type and severity of your addiction
