List of Short Term Alcohol and Drug Treatment Programs In Paramount, California

Making Short Term Drug and Alcohol Rehab Work in Paramount, California

For many people, completing short term treatment means that you'll need to continue on with aftercare services such as making use of 12-step meetings or individualized counseling. Usually, addiction recovery is a long-term goal. This means that you might want to continue with your treatment in other settings for some time - depending on your health, strength, and level of abstinence and recovery.

Therefore, the step-down method after going through a short term rehab program will include additional types of recovery, including but not limited to:

  • Intensive outpatient programs (IOP)
  • Partial hospitalization programs (PHP)
  • Halfway houses
  • Sober living homes
  • Support groups
  • Outpatient treatments

In fact, even after you have graduated from a short term treatment facility and have started a new healthy lifestyle, you will still need additional support and aftercare services. You might discover these in group settings, such as by regularly attending 12-step meetings, or in an individual environment such as one-on-one counseling or outpatient counseling.

Typically, the longer you stay committed to treatment and recovery, the better your chances of recovery will be.

As you strive for sobriety and balance in your life, you will want to take the time to find an effective short term substance abuse rehabilitation program in Paramount based on your particular needs and preferences.

While looking for a short term rehab center, therefore, you may want to consider the following factors:

  • If the facility accepts insurance
  • If you are suffering from any co-occurring physical and mental health disorders
  • The cost of treatment
  • The length of the treatment programs
  • The location of the facility
  • The rehab programs provided
  • The type and severity of your addiction
