List of Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Facilities In Laton, California

How Outpatient Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Works in Laton, California

If you have been grappling with a severe substance use disorder and addiction, outpatient alcohol and drug rehabilitation might not prove to be enough for you. Before you look for treatment for your addiction, you must first undergo detoxification to rid your body completely of the substances you were abusing.

After the detox stage, the outpatient alcohol and drug rehab program will begin the real work of therapy and recovery. In fact, these programs work best if you have already completed another form of care - such as a staying in an inpatient alcohol and drug rehab program. You should also be considered medically stable enough that you can comfortably pursue treatment and recovery with minimal assistance.

When you enter into an outpatient alcohol and drug rehabilitation program in Laton, the following services will be provided every week:

  • Family therapy sessions
  • Group therapy and individual meetings for support and encouragement
  • One-on-one counseling
  • Medication management, which might be required if you have a co-occurring disorder or have been diagnosed with polysubstance addiction
  • Diet Management
  • One on one therapy sessions with licensed treatment counselors
  • Exercise related therapy
  • Relapse prevention
  • Sober living housing, where required

Since outpatient rehabilitation does not demand that you live inside the facility, it means that you might need to dedicate yourself to recovery so that the program proves fruitful in the long run. You should also pursue sobriety and abstain from drugs without any monitoring or assistance.

As long as your living situation and environment is conducive to your recovery, you might find that outpatient alcohol and drug rehabilitation is the best option. This is because you will get support and assistance at home so that you can continue focusing on beating your addiction - with none of the temptations you may have run into in the past.
