Advantages of Inpatient Drug Treatment in Altheimer, Arkansas

Drug addiction to substances such as heroin, crystal meth, alcohol, crack or prescription drugs like klonopin, dilaudid or morphine, when left untreated, can result in an individual losing everything that is good in their life such as their kids, jobs, mental health and even their home. Drug addiction and alcoholism are treatable problems. In fact, people in Altheimer, AR recover everyday and attain long term sobriety. While also getting clean and sober, people that go into inpatient addiction treatment centers also learn how to fix relationships and how to get their lives back in order and how they can keep it that way. Because of the poor mental and physical attributes that addiction produces in a person, it can be hard to think clearly enough to make the logical choice to find and begin an inpatient addiction treatment center.

One of the obstacles to beginning treatment can be the stress of the withdrawal process when quitting drugs or alcohol. However, there is a successful resolution for the problem of withdrawal that makes it safe for people to come off of drugs or alcohol. That solution is called detox. Safely getting people off drugs or alcohol through a medical detox process is the first step of an inpatient addiction treatment program. Recovery Centers of Arkansas
1201 River Road
North Little Rock, AR. 72114

Recovery Centers of Arkansas has a rich history with strong foundations in the recovery community of central Arkansas. The first Alcoholics Anonymous group in Arkansas and the oldest AA group west of the Mississippi River initially incorporated in the 1950's, as the Twenty-Four Hour Club and later as Addiction Treatment Centers, for the purpose of purchasing a facility in Little Rock to offer treatment for alcohol abuse. A need was shortly thereafter identified to have a similar facility on the north side of the river. Twelve people, incorporating as Riverbend Recovery Centers, donated $100 each for a down payment on a building and property located at the current site in North Little Rock. Operating under separate articles of incorporation, the two facilities each expanded, offering treatment to both men and women and to include substance abuse treatment in general rather than just alcohol addiction.
