KAR House is dedicated to helping the community of Wrangell and the surrounding areas to getting their sobriety back after battling with alcohol and drug addiction. Because of this, KAR House administers a wide collection of services in line with their belief of treatments that work - including short term drug addiction treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, long term rehab programs, inpatient addiction treatment facilities, outpatient detoxification facilities and others.
KAR House also believes that it is crucial that every person gets highly personalized services to ensure their recovery. This is why it is specialized in a wide variety of treatment modalities, including individual psychotherapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, behavior modification, substance abuse counseling approach, contingency management/motivational incentive, dual diagnosis drug rehab and others. Additionally, KAR House is specialized in co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, child care for clients children, persons with eating disorders, legal advocacy, persons with serious mental illness, aftercare/continuing care, as well as other special programs. In general, the treatment services that this alcohol and drug rehabilitation program uses strive to achieve true and lasting sobriety for each of its clients.
Lastly, KAR House accepts cash or self-payment, private medical insurance, payment assistance, medicaid, medicare, county or local government funds, access to recovery (atr) voucher and more.
