KAR House has long been dedicated to helping individuals recovery after a period of substance abuse. It has been doing this within Port Alexander and in the surrounding areas for quite some time. KAR House provides services like dialectical behavior therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, contingency management/motivational incentive, activity therapy, trauma therapy, cognitive/behavior therapy - all of which represent their treatment philosophy. In addition to, KAR House believes that clients need unique and individualized treatment approaches to achieve lasting recovery. This is why it offers several programs, like co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, treatment for spanish-speaking clients, persons with serious mental illness, programs for the hearing impaired, social skills development, domestic violence - among other services listed in the following sections.
KAR House offers short term rehab centers, outpatient counseling, outpatient detox centers, long term drug addiction treatment, inpatient drug rehab facilities and others. KAR House has continued recovery programs that are useful in helping clients after they complete treatment. This alcohol and drug rehab program also uses treatment methods that can help you achieve lasting sobriety.
Finally, KAR House accepts private health insurance, cash or self-payment, military insurance, sliding fee scale, access to recovery (atr) voucher, county or local government funds, as well as others.
