KAR House is dedicated to helping the people of Port Alexander and the surrounding areas to recovering from the problems and issues that arrive from drug an/or alcohol abuse. Because of this, KAR House administers a wide range of services in line with their philosophy of treatments that work - including short term drug treatment, long term drug and alcohol rehab programs, outpatient individual counseling, inpatient detox facilities, inpatient drug treatment and others.
KAR House also believes that it is vital that every individual gets highly personalized services to ensure their recovery. This is why it is specialized in a wide variety of treatment modalities, including dual diagnosis drug rehab, group therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, substance abuse counseling approach, trauma-related counseling, individual psychotherapy and others. Additionally, KAR House is specialized in veterans, clients referred from the court/judicial system, active duty military, transgender or (LGBT) clients, suicide prevention services, persons with eating disorders, as well as other special programs. In general, the treatment methods that this drug and alcohol treatment facility uses aims to provide positive and lasting change for each individual.
Lastly, KAR House accepts private medical insurance, private pay, medicaid, medicare, sliding fee scale, other state funds, county or local government funds and more.
