Region IV MH/MR has been dedicating its services and programs to helping people who are struggling with alcohol and drug addiction in Waterloo and its surrounding area.
To this end, Region IV MH/MR offers a wide variety of treatment and rehabilitation programs, including long term drug rehab programs, inpatient drug rehab programs, outpatient substance abuse counseling, inpatient detox programs, short term drug treatment and more. Region IV MH/MR also believes that it is necessary that it provides specific services to ensure that individuals get the results that they are looking for. This is why Region IV MH/MR is specialized in individual psychotherapy, group therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, trauma-related counseling, dialectical behavior therapy, behavior modification, among other programs.
Region IV MH/MR also provides persons with serious mental illness, legal advocacy, clients with HIV/AIDS, aftercare/continuing care, social skills development, residential beds for client's children, and offers some of the best aftercare programs - all of which are necessary and helpful to its clients.
