Department of VA Medical Center is committed to assisting anyone with a drug or alcohol use disorder in the local community find full recovery. It offers several services - such as short term rehabs, long term drug addiction treatment, outpatient detoxification centers, inpatient drug rehab programs, outpatient counseling and others - in line with its philosophy of the recovery care and rehab methods that work in recovery. This addiction treatment program also believes that clients need individual care to be able to stop abusing drugs and alcohol.
As such, Department of VA Medical Center specializes in brief intervention approach, vocational rehabilitation services, activity therapy, 12-step facilitation approach, cognitive/behavior therapy, individual psychotherapy and more. Similarly, it accepts patients who are self-help groups, clients referred from the court/judicial system, child care for clients children, veterans, persons with eating disorders, legal advocacy, and others.
