From mental health disorders and behavioral health care concerns to substance abuse and addiction, the YWCA of Hamilton provides programs that are designed to help women overcome the problems that they face in their day to day lives. In the process, the agency helps them attain a lifestyle of recovery, health, productivity, and wellness. - To this end, it works with women to cross all lines of difference in unity with a shared commitment to promoting social justice. For more than 125 years, it has been at the front of social movements in the community. Today, it is still deeply committed to working on various issues - including those involving racial, gender, and economic justice. This is with the goal of women who help other women. - A multi-racial and multi-issue agency, the YWCA of Hamilton has programs that are designed to address the immediate needs that people have as well as the root causes of these needs.
