In the process, the agency helps them attain a lifestyle of recovery, health, productivity, and wellness. - To this end, it works with women to cross all lines of difference in unity with a shared commitment to promoting social justice. For more than 125 years, it has been at the front of social movements in the community. Today, it is still deeply committed to working on various issues - including those involving racial, gender, and economic justice. This is with the goal of women who help other women. - A multi-racial and multi-issue agency, the YWCA of Hamilton has programs that are designed to address the immediate needs that people have as well as the root causes of these needs.
