The United Summit Center and United Hospital Center, in collaboration with WVU Medicine, cooperate to provide a complete mental health service system. The vast array of services available is ideal for properly treating patients that experience a wide array of developmental, emotional, mental, or addiction issues. - The objective of the agency is to offer high level behavioral health service programs to persons that have both acute and chronic mental disabilities, substance abuse problems intellectual/developmental disabilities, and to persons that suffering a crisis, in a bid to aid them in achieving their greater potential. ' In addition, its Child and Adolescent Clinical Liaison Services team carefully evaluates the mental health requirements of kids presently in DHHR custody and who are placed out-of-state. ' By carrying out these clinical reviews, it is able to guarantee that all mental health requirements are met sufficiently or if the in-state placement is in fact a better suit the particular child's mental health needs. ' The United Summit Center also offers 24-hour crisis as well as emergency services.
