The South Shore Mental Health Center offers a wide variety of treatment and rehabilitation services to clients living with substance abuse and addiction as well as those who experience the symptoms and signs of a psychiatric illness. - It provides services such as outpatient treatment, residential care, inpatient treatment, and crisis stabilization programs. Further, the center offers specialized counseling services for members of the local Asian community. - Today, the center has changed its name - to the Aspire Health Alliance. This is in a bid to highlight the fact that it is focused on integrating physical and mental health, creating alliances with other community health care service providers, and reducing the stigma that is commonly associated with mental and behavioral health disorders. - The Aspire Health Alliance - or the South Shore Mental Health Center - now serves children struggling with development disabilities as well as adults, teens, and children living with a mental health disorder.
