The target of the Seaview Community Services is to provide services that maximize the family's and individual potential for successful, independent living; to make sure that customers are provided a chance to achieve their personal goals for mental health and social growth. - The Behavioral Health Program has been available in Seward since the year 1975 via grants financed by the Alaska Department of Public Health & Social Services, Division of Behavioral Health. - The Seaview Community Services community support program serves a particular population of mental health consumers within an inpatient and outpatient setting. - Anyone who matches with the facility's CSP diagnostic criteria (having a functional limitation) is qualified for services. This may be determined by screening, assessment and referral via the SeaView Community Services Mental Health program. - Individualized treatment programs are made for every customer, designed to deal with unique issues. - Treatment may include conjoint and/or family counseling, individual counselling, group counseling, as well as urinalysis testing as necessary.
