STAR Council is a group of skilled, caring professionals who empower individuals, families, and communities to choose a substance free lifestyle. Since 1981, we have provided education in schools and communities to reduce the likelihood of alcohol and drug abuse, as well as counseling to help families find recovery from the devastation of addiction. Our mission is to provide substance abuse education and treatment to individuals, families, and communities that empower them to choose a substance free lifestyle. We believe that drug prevention programs are effective and that recovery from addiction is possible. STAR Council Outpatient Treatment program recognizes the chronic, progressive, and devastating aspects of addiction. It is our goal to provide services that address not only the substance use, but also the physical, social, family, and emotional well-being of each individual. The treatment programs are based on best practice and evidence based curriculums in connection with well trained and licensed counselors. The Outpatient Program (OP) consists of fewer than 9 hours of programming per week. All clients are provided with an individualized treatment plan designed for their specific needs and circumstances.
