The Ranch Recovery Centers is a full-service residential drug and alcohol treatment center in Riverside County. We offer treatment for men and women over the age of 18 in a safe, nurturing environment. We recognize that women and men have different needs during recovery, and have separate facilities to accommodate them. The Ranch Recovery Centers is comprised of the Ranch for men and the Hacienda Valdez for women. Our facilities offer landscaped grounds and breathtaking views of the San Jacinto Mountains, where clients sleep two to a room and enjoy leisure time in indoor and outdoor living and meeting spaces. Additionally, clients have access to the swimming pool, gym, hair salon/barber shop, art supplies, and the communal living rooms with comfortable leather couches. Founded in 1972, The Ranch Recovery Centers has helped thousands of people begin recovering from drug and alcohol dependency. Originally known as the Lost Heads Ranch, the facility consisted of just one building and less than 20 beds. After Rick Mesa joined the staff, and with the help of Betty Ford, Leonard Firestone and their philanthropic friends, The Ranch Recovery Centers has grown to the program it is today. Today, more than 40 years later, The Ranch Recovery Centers has four distinct properties where we can help more than 100 clients in various stages of recovery at the same time. We are one of the few non-profit treatment programs in California.
